It is the most awaited event for all the students because they are able to watch ball games, and they can also visit the booth such as marriage booth, message booth, and many more which are prepared by the different clubs.

And through this event, the sportsmanship and leadership of the students or athletes has been developed, that's why majority of the players after the activity taken are concluding that, "It is not important if you win or loss in a game, what is more important is how you played the game."

Through this, through sports participation, this seeks to promote wellness, to encourage the wise use of leisure time, to improve self esteem,  to stimulate other interests, and to provide students the opportunity to achieve individual and team goals.

The Happy Schools Movement was launched by The Department of Education to boost the implementation of the K-12 curriculum in the province, with the theme: "Paaralang Masayang Maglingkod, Tagumpay ng Bata'y Itaguyod".

This movement promotes every school in the region as an enjoyable and better place to study. And through this program, the potential of the learner has given an attention by creating a happier and more positive school.

Happy School Movement is indeed a very promising transformative advocacy to our schools. Keeping in mind to students that school is not just a place of learning, but also a place of fun and enjoyment as they enjoy what they are doing.

We should see to it that there is a return of investment on the way they learn and that they become lifelong learners, very much ready to conquer the world with happiness in their thoughts, actions and words. And if this happens, it will be more fun in schools, no children will be left behind. what a wonderful world it will be!

Yearly, on the month of August, we celebrate "Buwan ng Wika" to bring us back to mind about our beloved language, Tagalog. And this years theme is "Wikang Katutubo Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino".

In this month, all Filipino's must express their love for our language. We should use this language as a medium of communicating to others, not only in this month, it is much better if we use this in our daily lives because this is our language so we should be proud of it.

And in schools, as a way of celebrating this event, they are preparing contests and activities that are related for the month's celebration for the students who wants to join.

So we Filipino's should always remember, use, and be proud of what we have; our own language, Tagalog.

REFLECTION ABOUT ICT-10

I have learned a lot in the first quarter of ICT 10. The main topic was all about internet, which is used to get information about something, for communicating and to gain new knowledge upon browsing on it.  The history of internet was also discussed, so we are able to know when the internet was introduced or born, the contributors and even the Philippine pioneers.  And for browsing in the internet, the different types of searching are discussed.   Making a blog spot is also one of the requirements in the first quarter, and upon making a blog, we are able to share our thoughts about the given topic to others by posting it in our blog spots.   And for a better blog, we discussed about the tips in writing a great blog post.

And of course, in this quarter, challenges or problems are also encountered. Just like in the history of internet, the dates and the happenings are quite hard to memorize, and also in thinking a catchy title for the blog post.

But these challenges helps or motivates us to give or apply more effort in every output that is given to us. and to study harder for a better performance.

Moving on, I will strive harder and improve myself for a much better performance for the second quarter.

NATIONAL DISASTER PREPAREDNESS MONTH

  BE PREPARED

Nowadays, a lot of disasters are occurring which gives a heavy impact towards people and a massive destruction to facilities that are built for economic purposes and if this happens, puberty may arise. All of these can’t be predicted when and where it will happen, so we Filipinos must always be ready. Man made disasters such as accidents, troubles, fires, etc., are caused by humans. Another kind of disaster are the natural disasters such as earthquake, heavy rains, etc., which is more destructive than man made because as stated, this isn’t predicted when and where it will happen.
In the occurrence of these disasters, we should always be alert and ready. We need to prepare all the things that are needed. First, we need to know where the evacuation area is located, so that after the disaster, we are able to go there in case we need to do so. Prepare the first aid kit so that you can cure your or someone’s wound immediately, and survival kit which includes canned goods and other foods that are ready to eat without the need of cooking. Bring also extra batteries and radio and use it for listening news about the happenings, specifically about the disaster. Don’t panic, keep calm whenever disaster comes, because it helps us to think what is the best thing to do in order to be safe in this kind of situation.

I can say that we become stronger after disasters because it lets us overcome or to deal with these happenings and be able to rise up again and begin with a new day to spend.
